Our client, a themed entertainment organization focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for an Executive Director of Estimating! In this role, you will help to develop and manage the financial direction of the organization’s numerous projects. Your work will consist of estimating, projecting and maintaining budgets for various construction projects, including retail, bar/cafe, and exhibition spaces, working with Project Managers, outside vendors and upper level management throughout a project’s life cycle. You will also build and maintain a database of projects to help further the developmental budgets of future projects.This is a great opportunity to help build the next phase of an exciting and innovative organization!
You should have:
a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field
15+ years of construction experience in retail, hotel, theme parks and themed attractions projects
extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other budget management software
exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and guide project leads both internally and externally, but also produce and present data to upper-level management
a strong analytical mind capable of managing multiple ongoing projects
General Contractor License, ASCE and/or CMAA Certification preferred
