Our client, a leading experience and environment design firm, is looking for a Design Director experienced in zoos and aquariums to join their team! In this role, you’ll use your extensive animal exhibit design background to provide art direction for a diverse array of projects: you’ll contribute to all stages of projects from concept through design development, direct selection of all materials, colors, and project-related finishes, research ideas and materials for exhibits, recommend solutions for design problems, and ensure that projects remain on time and within budget. You’ll also serve as the primary liaison for the client and other internal and external teams, ensuring that the client’s brand voice and messaging, along with artistic intent, is honored through the creative process.  You should have:

- knowledge of live animal exhibit design for both land and aquatic life, including cost estimating, live animal husbandry requirements, containment, enrichment, staff access, visitor viewing experience, acrylic viewing window design, and replicated habitat design and fabrication
- expert level proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite

Technical Project Manager

Our client, a themed entertainment collective focusing on interactive multimedia and themed experiences, is looking for a Project Manager experienced with themed entertainment technology to join their team! In this role, you’ll be an integral part of the organization, ensuring the successful development, planning, execution, and closeout of all aspects of technology, throughout various project lifespans. Design Director

Our client, a custom design and fabrication firm, is looking for a Design Director to join their team! In this role, you’ll manage and oversee the technical and aesthetic design and direction for all projects, from conceptual develop through completion: you’ll develop and maintain an overall department schedule, participate in the hiring process for new design team members, serve as primary liaison between the design and fabrication teams to ensure artistic intent is honored through the build process, and actively participate in troubleshooting for any design-build issues. You’ll also oversee development and maintenance of the manual of graphics and printing standards to guide the design and outside printing effort for various projects and be responsible for the hiring of freelance artistic talent, among other duties.
