Landscape Designer - Part Time

Our client, an industry leading Entertainment and Tourism Destination, is seeking a part-time Landscape Designer to join their team. In this 20-30 hour a week role, you will work in the planning and preparation of designs for landscape projects and will be responsible for design research and execution, overseeing the installation of your designs in the field. You should have:
- 3-5 years of experience in topographic surveying or landscape design
- Knowledge of horticulture and plant identification

Digital Fabricator, Themed Entertainment

Our client, a custom 3D prop fabrication and production company, is looking for an experienced Fabricator to join their team! In this role, you’ll use your technical and creative expertise to assist in the production of a variety of artistic and sculptural endeavors: you’ll manage workflow from the concept phase through final fabrication, oversee the digital modeling process to ensure that creative intent is honored, participate in the production process, and serve as the point person for any troubleshooting needs. You’ll also serve as the primary liaison between the production team and clients, and translate client action items into project management tasks. You should have:
- solid carpentry skills and the ability to easily read and generate diagrams and plans 
- expert level knowledge of and experience with Rhino 3D, ZBrush, Maya, or a similar sub-D modeler, Powermill, Sketchup, the Adobe Creative Suite, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- proven CNC experience, with the aptitude to learn multi axis setups
- familiarity with DMFA engineering constraints 
- knowledge of machine tool and base offset setups, use of caliper, dial gauges, and traditional indexing setups for multi part large scale fabrication
- experience with a Kuka Robot and basic knowledge of KRL programming language

Architectural Talent [Entertainment]

Our client, a notable entertainment company, is looking for top tier Architecture Talent to join its team! You'll use your architectural chops and construction administration experience to support large scale project development: you'll create full architectural drawings, sketches, and models, monitor field construction to identify and resolve inconsistencies between execution and design intent, assist with managing and coordinating between third party vendors and internal teams, and ensure that deliverables are met on time with your guidance and suggestions on budget, design, schedule, code requirements, selection of resources for the projects and different strategies for execution. You’ll also assist with proposal documents, the pre-qualification and selection process of potential Architecture and Engineering vendors, responding to questions during the proposal process and the analysis of the development for vendors. Technical Manager, Show/Project

Our client, a global themed entertainment company, is looking for a Technical Manager well versed in set design to join its team! In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the fabrication, installation, testing, and implementation of all visual scenics for various projects. You will work with and coordinate multiple vendors, design consultants, and contractors throughout both design and implementation stages. This entails traveling to vendor facilities in order to track progress, quality, and creative intent review and approvals. As Technical Manager, you’ll also flex your project management skills by monitoring production expenses and ensuring all developments comply with any relevant codes and regulations. 

 

You should have: 

- A Bachelor's degree in Set/Scenic Design, Architecture, Building Construction, or an equivalent combination of education and Scenic Construction experience

- Minimum 5-7 years design, production, and project/contract management

- Experience in field construction specific to set/scenic, creative architecture, and the theme park industry

Technical Creative Manager - Theme Parks

Our client, a worldwide entertainment company, is looking for a Technical Creative Manager to join its team! In this role, you'll provide technical guidance and vendor management, including but not limited to specification, production, installation, and acceptance testing, and ensure that all ride/show equipment and elements (show/ride systems, set/scenic, props, animated figures, ride mechanical systems, etc.) are maintained to the highest level of safety in accordance with internal, local and state standards. You'll also serve as liaison between internal and external technical attraction personnel.
