Our client, a global themed entertainment company, is looking for a technical manager with state of the art knowledge of A/V & projection technologies to join its team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the design and development of the audio, video & projection systems for a variety of themed experiences and areas. You’ll help ensure that creative intent, budget, and schedule accuracy are met from start to finish: you’ll work with creative teams to establish quantitative requirements and specifications for A/V systems, liaise with vendors to manage design & documentation and lead product review to ensure those requirements and specifications are met, and supervise installation, test, and adjustment. You’ll also oversee mock-up and prototype efforts to ensure results reflect the final installation.
You should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field [Master’s degrees preferred]
- a minimum 5-7 years of audio/video design & development experience
- a minimum 3-5 years project management experience
- prior experience with turnkey projects [experience within the theme park/entertainment industry highly preferred]
