Our client, a themed entertainment organization focusing on interactive multimedia and art experiences, is looking for a collaborative and detail oriented Assistant Planning Manager! In this role, you’ll organize, implement and maintain the scheduling management system for your assigned projects: you’ll work with other internal contacts to coordinate and track scheduling matrix for all projects, including the concept, schematic design, design development, construction/shop drawings, installation and test & adjust phases, coordinate and develop scheduling reports, site development milestones, and scheduling activities for fabrication, shipping, installation, commissioning, programming and training, ensuring the creative team is included in all artistic decisions, among other tasks. You should have:
- a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field
- a minimum 4 years of experience within themed entertainment, construction, or architecture, with a proven knowledge of building practices, construction materials, methods, and techniques for themed entertainment/exhibitions
- expert level proficiency with Primavera, and a high level of comptenency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent collaborative, communicative, organizational, and project management skills
